(PhD., Agricultural Science, MSc., Food Safety; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) is the research, development and innovation expert, food chain challenges lecturer and the international affairs person in charge of Natural Sciences Faculty at Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Before this, she was working as professor assistant at University of Prishtina from year 2007 until the end of 2013. Ardita has especially competence on collaboration in international projects, food product development, food chain challenges, food safety and quality. Ardita has more than 10 years’ experience in educating, also in English, supervising thesis of the students in bachelor, master and doctoral level. Carrying scientific projects with industry and academia in relation to food science and management, food product development, food design and natural sciences. Ardita has been doing frequently lecturing visits in several EU countries, US, Africa and Japan, as well as asked to be an honorable speaker of several international conferences. Dr. Hoxha – Jahja has finished her Doctoral studies in Agriculture Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Hohenheim in Germany in 2013. In her doctoral thesis, she was enriching chicken eggs with Omega 3 by increasing physical activity and using different oil sources in the feeding. Hoxha – Jahja’s strong background is in agriculture sciences in global context.
